What is this ministry?
In 1998 Janet Bristow and Victoria Galo, two graduates of the
1997 Women’s
Leadership Institute at the Hartford Seminary in Hartford, Connecticut began
this ministry. You can check out more about this ministry at

. Care and a love of knitting, crocheting or sewing have been combined
into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and
solace. Many blessings are knitted or crocheted into every shawl. Each shawl
is begun with prayers for the recipient. Some uses for the shawls are giving
them to those undergoing medical procedures, needing comfort after a loss, for
baptisms, during an illness and to the elderly in nursing homes.
If you would like to learn to knit or crochet please feel free
to join the Creative Fellowship Ministry on Tuesday mornings at 10.00 a.m. in
the church library. All crafters are welcome to join us each Tuesday for
fellowship together.
